Projeto arquitetônico de um centro cultural e religioso da igreja evangélica assembleia de Deus ministério missão em São Domingos do Maranhão – MA

Abstract

RESUMO: O Presente estudo desenvolve o projeto arquitetônico de um Centro Cultural e Religioso para a cidade de São Domingos do Maranhão-MA, destinado à Igreja Evangélica Assembleia de Deus Ministério Missão. Busca-se atender às necessidades da comunidade local, integrando funções culturais e religiosas em um único espaço projetado de forma funcional, inclusiva e adaptada ao contexto regional. O trabalho identifica carências estruturais no templo-sede existente e propõe um ambiente que acomode cultos, eventos, congressos e atividades culturais, como oficinas e aulas de música. A pesquisa adota metodologia qualitativa, com revisão bibliográfica, análise de estudos de caso e levantamentos de campo, considerando aspectos como clima, topografia, legislação e cultura local. Com foco na funcionalidade e sustentabilidade, o projeto pretende contribuir para o fortalecimento comunitário e para a promoção cultural e religiosa na região, valorizando a tradição da igreja e a interação com a sociedade. ABSTRACT: This study develops the architectural project of a Cultural and Religious Center for the city of São Domingos do Maranhão-MA, intended for the Evangelical Assembly of God Ministry Mission Church. It aims to meet the needs of the local community by integrating cultural and religious functions into a single space designed to be functional, inclusive, and adapted to the regional context. The work identifies structural deficiencies in the existing headquarters and proposes an environment to host worship services, events, conferences, and cultural activities, such as workshops and music lessons. The research adopts a qualitative methodology, including a literature review, case study analysis, and field surveys, considering aspects such as climate, topography, legislation, and local culture. With a focus on functionality and sustainability, the project aims to strengthen the community and promote cultural and religious activities in the region while valuing the church's tradition and its interaction with society.
